ABOUT  LAULO

My passion for creating started as child making barbie doll clothes from Grandma's fabric remnants.

I learned that if there was something I  really wanted I could find a way to make it and be proud of my creations.

Now that I've retired from my desk job I can concentrate on and enjoy doing what I've always wanted to do,

Make stuff!

Often I hear, "you can make anything" or "your so talented".  I'm not sure about talent.  It could be more determination and hard work at learning and perfecting whatever medium

I'm working with.

With lots of determination, trial and error I'm mostly self taught in lots of arts and crafts.

I love it when a project enables me to incorporate skills learned from previous projects.

My name came from a cute little girl, my niece. She called me Aunt Laulo when she was little.

I really liked that name. So I was dismayed when the day came that my brother announced

that she could now say my name the right way.  It's been a lot of years now, but I've kept

using the name she gave me for my creative endeavors.
